The Jourdans business was established by CHG Jourdan in 1894 in London and specialised in the manufacture of high quality luxury packaging. In 1942 an element of production was moved to Devon and in 1964 all production was moved to Exeter.
In the 1980s and seeking further growth, Jourdans established a POP company (Jourdans POP), producing vacuum formed point of sale material for existing cosmetic companies and advertising agencies. In 2003 Jourdans Ltd, recognising that the increased service offering would be attractive to existing and new companies, acquired a metal fabrication business based in Crediton that specialised in POP production.
Jourdan's POP now operates from a single site in Crediton and is one of the leading UK producers of advanced, high impact, award winning displays.
